A Mercedes Benz SUV belonging to Charlie Sheen has been found crashed in a steep ravine near his home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Police received a 911 call around 4 a.m. reporting that the car was down a cliff off Mulholland Drive. Sheen, meanwhile, was home, blissfully unaware that his SUV was stolen until he was alerted by his Benz that things were amiss. “The Mercedes has some kind of system, and because an airbag went off it automatically called 911,” LAPD spokesman Richard French told E! News.  Around the same time, Sheen, 44, called to report that his SUV had been stolen, the Associated Press reports.Meanwhile, Aspen Assistant District Attorney Arnold Mordkin tells UsMagazine.com that Sheen will be charged with a felony on Monday for allegedly putting a knife to his wife Brooke Mueller’s throat and threatening to kill her on Christmas Day. He is expected to be charged with menacing and misdemeanor assault.

Brittany Murphy's Husband: She Didn't Seem That Sick | Brittany Murphy

Less than a day after the LA coroner released a statement claiming Brittany Murphy died primarily from pneumonia with multiple drug intoxication and iron defiency anemia, husband Simon Monjack released a statement: “Everything [surprised me and Brittany's mom about the report]. I expected [the cause of death] to be her heart. She wasn’t coughing up. I’ve had pneumonia and coughed up handfuls of spittle. So yeah, everything surprised us, everything.” When asked about the coroner’s claim that her death was completely preventable if she had properly seen a doctor, Monjack said, “I don’t know what he said so I don’t want to comment on what I haven’t seen. Case closed, as the coroner said, there’s no foul play.”

Nathan, Caleb and Jared Followill of Kings of Leon stepped up and staged an intervention for their father, a former Pentecostal evangelical preacher, who has had a serious drinking problem on and off for years. Their father Ivan was put in a California rehab center with the help of his sons in December as he was “literally close to death.” Ivan had been living in Oklahoma and working part-time as a house painter. He didn’t have the money for treatment and according to an insider “couldn’t bring himself to ask his boys for help.”
