While on The View yesterday Kate Gosselin said the rumors of her being a diva on Dancing with the Stars  were not true since she is 3,000 miles away from everyone while rehearsing.   But her new colleagues aren’t so sure. “I’m not the type of person to judge…” dancer Mark Ballas told UsMagazine.com of Gosselin at Wednesday’s Drai’s Hollywood grand opening event in West Hollywood. “And I’m not going to be like ‘I don’t like [Kate]…”But? “But, I mean, she’s pretty, you know, standoffish, which is kind of weird.” Ballas, pro partner to Shannen Doherty this season, told Us about meeting the reality mom for the first time.  ”I don’t really know her, but when I met her she wasn’t kind of like, ‘hello’ or anything. I say ‘hey,’ and she was like ‘oh hey.’ I was like, ‘Okay!’” Ballas added, “She has a great partner, Tony [Dovolani] who is a dear friend of mine, so I’m sure he will whip her into shape. Whatever you can get out of that!”

 Miley Cyrus apparently can’t stand playing the part that made her famous on Hannah Montana!! The tween says: “What I am sure about is I’m going to rejoice and be happy to finally not have to be … well, to not be somebody I’m not exactly. As I’ve grown into it, I’ve grown out of it. When I was 12, I thought, ‘I want to be famous all the time! I want everybody to recognize me!’ I can’t breathe looking like that anymore. A friend came by the set one day and said, ‘You don’t look very happy.’ I said, ‘I’m feeling claustrophobic in all these frills. I hate being thought of as a product. I am not a doll, and people want to treat me that way… I’m older now. I have an opinion. I have my own taste.”

 
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott might be on the rocks based on footage from the upcoming season of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood showing the couple crying and fighting!   “What changed with me? It’s like you got more and more unhappy and angry,” Deans asks Tori to which she replied, “I just want the old Dean back. I really do. I miss you so much.” Apparently Dean’s been spending more time at the motorcycle racing track instead of at home and an insider reveals: “Dean has very little money of his own. He doesn’t make a lot of money from his acting career. She has to work and parent and take care of the home all at once. Dean’s the first to show up for photo ops. “Tori likes when production is going on because at least there are tons of people around, money’s coming in and there are things to do…She won’t leave Dean right now. It would be very embarrassing for her and her family. She’s stuck.”

In a recent interview, Boy George claims while attending one of her concerts, Lady GaGa requested his autograph… on her vajajay! He explains: “It was very brief when I met her, there were a lot of people in the room, it was all a bit chaotic. I haven’t been around that kind of circus in years! I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ You know, I’ve been that woman!’ So it was very interesting to be on the outside looking in. She was very sweet. She asked me to sign her vagina.”

Top Chef will be going on tour beginning on April 14 bringing the Chef’testants out and about for culinary delights all over the country! Conan O’Brien‘s upcoming 30-city live comedy/music revue tour is in talks to be filmed for a documentary feature! The film wouldn’t violate the terms of the comedian’s split from NBC and it’s sure to be a hit with all of the Conan-fever going around! Planning is just in the beginning stages, but supposedly Media Rights Capital is already interested in financing and Rodman Flender is a contender for directing the movie.

Though she gave it her best effort to return to the stage, Marie Osmond and her brother Donny announced today that the remaining dates of their Las Vegas show have been cancelled. Her rep explained: “She needs to spend more time with her family. She’s still processing everything and it’s really rough on her.” Fox announced this morning that it was green-lighting a second season of Kitchen Nightmares, the reality show in which Gordon goes to “struggling” restaurants and berates them into perfection. The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Gordon’s own empire, Gordon Ramsay New York, has been listed by the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance as among the Big Apple’s top 250 business “delinquent tax payers”.

 Alicia Keys will be joining Shakira and The Black Eyed Peas in performing at the FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration Concert in June.  The concert will take place in South Africa on June 10th to celebrate the start of the World Cup, and up to 30,000 spectators are expected to attend! “I believe these historic events will go a long way towards uniting the people of our rainbow nation in South Africa,” says former soccer player Lucas Radebe, who has taken a hand in organizing the festivities. “Music and sports are the lifeblood of African culture, so to combine those in this historic event will be a true celebration of Africa.”

A rep for Mendes, who calls rumors that the British filmmaker has been carrying on a relationship with Vicky Cristina Barcelona actress Rebecca Hall “ridiculous.”  This was rumored to be the reason for his split with Kate. Hall, 27, met Mendes, 44, in 2006 on the set of Starter for 10, an indie film Mendes produced. They’ve been seen together more recently in London and New York, where they were reportedly working on productions for his Bridge Project theater company.  They were also spotted together this past weekend just before the news came of the divorce. 
Sources are claiming that Kate Winslet has turned to her Titanic costar for support during this difficult separation from her husband, Sam Mendes. Apparently, things started getting rough for Kate and Sam during the filming of Revolutionary Road, so Leo has been there since the beginning of the couple’s end. Plus, the duo’s “brother and sister” relationship has always made it easy for them to support one another. A source explains: “Kate feels like she can tell Leonardo anything. They were thrust into stardom together and were the only people who knew what the other was going through. He’s been a rock for her.”

There are loud whisperings that  Lady GaGa may be cast in a starring role in Quentin Tarantino‘s next film!!!! “Quentin is a huge fan of GaGa and loves her whole personality,” an insider divulged. “He has already sounded her out on a couple of projects, one of which would see her playing an assassin.”

Tiger Woods has one powerful person rooting for his comeback. President Barack Obama weighed in on the golfer’s rough several months with an optimistic note. “Tiger has acknowledged that he betrayed his family and that’s a personal issue they’ve got to work out,” Obama told Fox News on Wednesday. “I hope they work it out and that he returns to golf,” the President said, adding that Woods “is still going to be a terrific golfer.”

 After trying in vain to cash in with the media on Tiger Woods’ sex scandal, adult film actress Joslyn James — one of the golfer’s alleged mistresses — has posted online a series of filthy text messages she claims the golf great sent her.  She was asking thousands from media outlets but not takers so instead, posted the messages on a brand new, self-promoting Web site — www.sextingjoslynjames.com — she launched Thursday.   And here are just some of the texts:

- OK, I would like to have a threesome with you and another girl you trust.
- I want to treat you rough, throw you around, spank and slap you
- Have you ever had a golden shower done to you? … just morbid curiosity.
- You are my f**king w***e. Hold you down while I choke you

And then there’s this, on September 8, 2009: “Having a few issues at home. Might be a little later before I see you tonight.” That text is followed by “parent hood melt down ” And the last message is dated October 4, 2009. It says, “Don’t f**king talk to me. You almost just ruined my whole life. If my agent and these guys would have seen you there, F**k.”

 

 

Not only is The Celebrity Apprentice set to be picked up for next season, but the original version of the reality show, with fourteen everyday contestants, already has a place in the fall line-up!! VP of alternative programming for NBC, Paul Telegdy, says: “The Apprentice is a proven brand, and we believe its return is more relevant than ever since it will provide new hope for many Americans struggling in this difficult job market.” Trump was also surprisingly receptive when asked if he would recruit Sarah Palin as a contestant!

Woody Harrelson along with Owen and Luke Wilson will be lending their voices to the new animated feature Turkeys, which reportedly involves a pair of fowl who discover a time machine and use it to go back to the first Thanksgiving in an attempt to take their breed of bird off the menu!!

  

Together or not together???  Yesterday they announced that Britney and her agent/boyfriend Jason Trawick had broken up again but then here they are together yesterday…hmmm.   Brit did take a Minnie break from Jason … and put on mouse ears while inside an Encino party store.

Corey Haim had been getting a massive amount of prescription drugs from numerous doctors, according to the California Attorney General.  A.G. Jerry Brown — who is investigating a fraudulent prescription drug ring that has a Corey Haim connection — said on HLN‘s “Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell,” “How many people go to 10 or 15 or 20 doctors and then run around to 10, 12 and more pharmacies to go fulfill them and sometimes two different doctors in the same day?” Brown says pharmacy records show Haim obtained “thousands” of pills from dozens of doctors over the last year. As TMZ first reported, just days before Haim’s death, he obtained 4 prescriptions from the same psychiatrist — Valium, Vicodin, Soma and haloperidol, an antipsychotic drug.

 

In an exclusive interview with E! News, Grease star and Celebrity Rehab alum Jeff Conaway says he warned Corey Haim last year that prescription drugs would kill him. Conaway spoke to E! News from a nursing facility in Sylmar, Calif., where he is recovering from hip surgery. The actor, who suffered a broken hip from a fall in January, has battled an addiction to prescription painkillers for over a decade and even admits to being under the influence of both OxyContin and methadone during his interview.

 

Even behind bars, Weezy just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. An Arizona judge issued a warrant this morning for Lil Wayne‘s arrest after he failed to turn up for a court date in his drug and weapons case. Yuma County Superior Court Judge Mark Wayne Reeves ordered the “Cash Money” rapper be taken into custody after missing out on a final pretrial management conference stemming for a 2008 arrest in which border patrol officers allegedly found marijuana, Ecstasy and several handguns on Wayne’s tour bus. Of course, Lil Wayne has a pretty good excuse of course for why he didn’t show.  He is currently locked up for the next year in New York City’s Rikers Island for a separate illegal weapons rap
