Eric Hutchinson just completed his amazing Acoustic Cafe performance at the Russian Lady in downtown Hartford! Switching with ease between his keyboard and guitar, Eric brought his rootsy brand of rock ‘n roll to an excited crowd right here in Hartford!

The singer was wowed by the legendary (and recently re-opened) venue, calling it “a really cool space.” Eric also commented on his recent appearance on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater for David Letterman, and recalled how excited he was to meet Paul Schaffer. Not only is Eric a super-nice guy he’s also a fantastic performer, and he even squeezed out a sixth song in his performance, to a delighted room!
Here’s the full setlist from Eric’s performance, which was packed with three tunes from his upcoming album “Moving Up, Living Down” (out April 17th)… and even a Sting cover song!!

1. OK It’s Alright With Me
2. Best Days
3. Rock and Roll
4. Every Little Thing She Does is Magic (Sting and The Police cover)
5. The Basement
6. Watching You Watch Him

Eric described the last song, his new single, as all about being in love with somebody who doesn’t love you… it’s sad, but it’s so poppy!!
The Acoustic Cafe was an absolute blast, as anyone here at the Russian Lady can attest to– after hearing a preview of Eric’s new songs, we’re more excited than ever to check out his new album this April!
