Jack White is set to headline New York’s Madison Square Garden for the first time since the White Stripes played the world-famous arena in 2007.

White announced his first two concerts of 2015 on his Facebook page yesterday: he’s playing the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Jan. 28, followed by New York’s Madison Square Garden on Jan. 30.

The rest of his touring this year will take place out of the country. Next week, he kicks off s string of four dates in Mexico, and in November he’s touring Europe.

While he has no Los Angeles dates planned at the moment, he will be in that city to perform at the NARAS MusiCares Person of the Year event on Feb. 6; this year, that event pays tribute to Bob Dylan
