As of today, the Nielsen Co. has already estimated that over 106.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the Saints vs. the Colts. This now officially marks Super Bowl XLIV as the most-watched television program in history, even beating out the 1983 M*A*S*H finale. In comparison, last year’s Super Bowl brought in 98.7 million viewers.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Warren Sapp (he appeared on Dancing with the Stars too)was arrested in Miami on Saturday night for misdemeanor domestic battery! Sapp has been accused of violently attacking his girlfriend, who police noted had “a swollen right knee and bruises on the back of her neck” when they arrived at the Shore Club Hotel early Saturday morning. more
A Mercedes Benz SUV belonging to Charlie Sheen has been found crashed in a steep ravine near his home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Police received a 911 call around 4 a.m. reporting that the car was down a cliff off Mulholland Drive. Sheen, meanwhile, was home, blissfully unaware that his SUV was stolen until he was alerted by his Benz that things were amiss. “The Mercedes has some kind of system, and because an airbag went off it automatically called 911,” LAPD spokesman Richard French told E!
